In 2012 a group of men came together and dreamed of opening a second hand hardware store unique to Lincoln, Niagara and the entire province of Ontario. This store would provide funds for Cairn Christian School to help in the reduction of tuition.
On October 29, 2014 a most unique property was made available and purchased by the Board of Directors for New Again Second Use Store. This property, at the corner of King st. and Stadelbauer Dr. was originally a lumberyard called STAD Lumber until 1984 when it burnt down.
With a lot of hard work and many volunteers the buildings were prepared.
On March 4, 2015, NEW AGAIN celebrated it’s official opening. The many volunteers and school community worked hard to filled the store with kitchens, appliances, furniture, vanities, doors, hardware and more. A space was created for volunteers to show their talents in woodworking with handmade crates, birdhouses and penny hockey becoming a staple in the store.
Through the years a lot has changed. NEW AGAIN now supplies second hand lumber and landscaping bricks as well as household decor and everyday tableware. An area for volunteers handmade items has expanded to include painted furniture, picture frames, framed mirrors, craft kits and more.
We have become a go to for local crafters looking for small pieces of of lumber and live edge wood.
Throughout the years we have continued our vision to reduce, reuse and recycle and become a part of the community as well as provide for the education of our children.
